I want my money back. The DOW dropped.....but it was nothing like a rock! Until TR can provide conclusive timestamped airport video surveillance with the DOW and the rock dropping in unison he owes me 140 bucks!

Well- its now Saturday -and the mail has come- just nothing from Barman.

Ill play along though.

Hey Barman what did the Shebar say when you asked her if she forgot to mail the letter and what happened to it?

BTW was it cash or Money Order?

The time and date stamp prediction has now been moved up to 4/9. Cant wait to prove it wasnt mailed on the 3rd.

Postmark I mean... LOL

ha, either that or prevent moderators from placing bets in excess of $5, thereby increasing the propability of a timely payout.

$5? That's more than a full shift's pay

May need an installment plan

Was Super Excited to learn that SheBar had the envelope still stuffed in her work notebook sitting in the backseat of her Camry when she arrived home last night to the Bar n Grill.

So I took it myself to USPO this afternoon and watched my own hand with my own eye drop it into the ol' OUT mailbox.

Gave about three seconds of consideration to stuffing it in a Priority Mail packet for just $3 and then thought, fuck it.

With the DOW rising back up to profitable levels, hopefully TR has a few shares in something like Microsoft or Walmart.

This here thread is becoming one of the funnier threads in our
little world. The fact that TR is freaking out over such a
small sum of money, and the fact that Barman seems unable
to cough it up.

Though somehow I think this time TR is going to get his hard fought
for envelope.

The question is, did Barman send cash, check or money order?
And, if it's a check.... well I won't go there.

Let the saga continue!

How considerate of you not to have asked her two Fridays ago that evening had she mailed the letter youd entrusted to her that afternoon?

After all it had only been a month. There was no reason to rush things...

You two are starting to remind me of the Slowski's.

Speaking of the two turtledoves while we wait another week for the next download.

I had turtle soup once. I was in a hurry. I told the waiter to make it snappy.:):)

Over past month, my wife and I see either about two hours a day max (awake). Between my getting the new business going, maintaining my lawn/garden biz and her working a 55 hour week, it's lean times for meeting up.

===
ZIT, I stuffed a 20 and a 5 inside a wrapped up sheet of paper with short note to TR and away it went.

So as long as it arrives before all American currency is replaced by the mythical Amero, he should be good to go.

Did you decide to go the MLM route?

I briefly tried both Excel and Amway, decided it's definitely not the
thing for me...

I am working with a business group based in Atlanta that uses Amway Global as their supplier and money manager. But we're not using an MLM system.

Guy is sweeping his porch when he notices a snail. Picks it up and throws it across the street.

One year later comes out and sees the snail on the porch again. As he picks it up the snail says "so what was that all about?"
