Notre Dame vs Syracuse on 10/29 by Mike_Jones

Handicapper Analysis 0
Syracuse's defensive line was already a problem entering this season because it lost its top four players.

The Orange have also lost two defensive linemen to season-ending injuries.

They lacked the physicality to contain Clemson's ground game last week and will also fail to deal with Notre Dame's physicality.

Notre Dame will dominate on the ground with its monstrously sized offensive line, which will open up play-action possibilities between Drew Pyne and elite tight end Michael Mayer.

Defensively, the Irish will succeed because they reliably limit the rushing output of mobile quarterbacks and their pass rush will further hurt Syracuse's pass attack, which struggles to limit sacks.
