stock to flow chart (google it) predicts 100K by August.

Since we are in a bubble and there is FOMO, I am pretty sure its happening.

Stock to flow is pretty cool (maybe too cool???) but the dude predicted 50K two years ago when it was a lot lower.

I dont know much about statistics and how much backfitting he did, but the model is very neat

Bitcoin is the only one that if it lasts, can last. I believe it will. Dogecoin is stupid. Anything that has infinite supply is only doomed to come back to earth. With thousands of new dogecoins being created daily the money to be made on dogecoin is effectively the same as when someone says “fake money”. It is. Endless supply eventually creates a decreased demand and thus dogecoin is useless. If you are Buying dogecoin you already can’t wait to sell it, you don’t actually want the product.

Bitcoin is scarce in terms of amount and can stand the test of time.

that being said most coins have not dealt with a recession, this market run is unprecedented and crypto has always enjoyed the fruits of a growing market. When a true recession hits, and it will, Bitcoin holders may be inclined to sell because other needs arise and Bitcoin doesn’t meet the needs that other investments provide.
im not a skeptic but I’m realistic in the fact that people have had “ play money” in this market for a few years. A true market correction will eliminate a lot of these stupid coins, like dogecoin, and only ones with actual value will remain. I think a real Bitcoin dip will happen but in theory only bitcoins value is limitless.

agree and disagree. We had similar runs in 2011, 2013 and 2017. I missed the 2011 run, but was around for 2013 and 2017.

I was referring to the overall market that has been on a historically long run. Aside from healthy pull back and the coronavirus dip the market has been making people good $ since 2008. Crypto has risen to where it is always during a healthy overall stock market. Will be interesting to see what happens when a true 12-18 month recession hits.

I’m new to Bitcoin even though I’ve known about it for years so can’t speak to its previous runs but I do think that the smart ones are invested there with a small amount on others. Everything else looks like a copy cat to me where as Bitcoin is the original and still the best.

If they were a copy cat of BTC the would be PoW. ETH 2.0 will be moving form PoW to PoS. Huge difference

there is a huge difference but to a lot of inexperienced investors pumping money into something because of a tweet dont know the difference. for most smaller investors all cryptocurrency is the same to them.

The vast vast majority don't know what to make of bitcoin; those that claim that they do are full of crap or are truly naive and have just a very basic understanding.

This seems like a really good point and pretty serious topic. I don't see how everything doesn't have to move to PoS eventually given the environmental concerns.

Like it or not, climate alarmism/activism is here to stay and this shit burns a ton of energy.

Many are already PoS such as Cardano, Polkadot, NEO and Cosmos. You can earn interest on staking coins.

Yeah I bought a few defis to stake coins, not much $....Unfortunately, since I bought all the crypto $ has gone into ETH and DOGE so haven't caught a nice bid yet.

You like any defis specifically
