The total for this game seems incredibly high especially in view of Virginia's repeated tendency to struggle to reach 20 points.
Even if we acknowledge North Carolina's defensive struggles to the most reasonable extent, the Cavalier offense is broken this year as quarterback Brennan Armstrong adjusts to a new scheme.
Individually, his inefficiency is explained by his frequent missed throws and his lack of vision.
UNC would need to score a tremendous number of points in order for the game to go "over" the total.
But Tar Heel quarterback Drake Maye will be running for his life behind another year of shoddy pass protection.
