I didn't face this kind of problem ever, even in covid time too. This is because I always choose dental clinics after reading the
aspen dental reviews that help me to find a secure and best dentist for any kind of teeth operation. You must also try it.
Anytime I see anything associated with Aspen Dental I get both angry and laugh at the same time as they are one of these most dishonest
firms I have ever firms of any nature I have ever dealt with in my 77 years on this planet.
In a nutshell, my regular dentist told meI needed a wisdom tooth extraction and recommended I find an oral surgeon
To cut to the chase, because of covid there was a long delay in getting it done because of covid with the ones who would accept
my insurance.
Well, finally I found one where this was virtually no delay which was late last year-it was Aspen Dental.
Well I made an appointment with them to have a slew of XRays in my mouth taken with them and was quite impressed
with the state-of-the-art technology when I visited the site and had them taken.
Then is when "fun" began.
First, one technician comes in that just removing the abscessed tooth wouldn't be enough because there were eight other
teeth that would be affected negatively and because they were weak should also be removed in a series of appointments.
I told them that my regular dentist said nothing about that based on the XRays she had taken and that I only wanted the one
tooth in questioned removed, and asked them if they would do just that.
I was curious though as to how much out of pocket expense would be(not considering what my HI would pay), so I asked
them.
They told me around 10K!!
Then one of their of programmed "dentists" came into the room and tried to pressure me some more to get all eight teeth
extracted rather than just the one!!!
At that point I became very angry, raised my voice and in so many words told them "nicely" to go F themselves and that I would
rather suffer continued tooth pain rather than deal with con artists and criminals like themselves!!
I said it loud enough so that the people in the waiting room could hear it and told them to beware and I simply stormed
out of these.
The story had a happy ending as I got lucky and found another Oral Surgeon Group that could do the work in a couple
of weeks because of a cancellation.
I had the tooth removed and on the day of the appointment told them about my Aspen experience and asked them whether
they had heard oh similar complaints.
The receptionist simply laughed and said, "Don't worry-you aren't the only one!!"
Actually, prior to the appointment, I had checked the internet out regarding Aspen to find out if my encounter was just with the local
Aspen Office or elsewhere.
Not surprisingly there I found complaints similar to mine all over the country!!!
End of story!!
ps The Oral Surgeon and my own regular dentist told me that the XRays I shoed them from Aspen and new Xrays taken by the Oral
dentist I used said there was no way that I needed to have any other tooth removed other than the wisdom tooth ALONE!!
