Maybe 2 to 52 you could say Denver is better but the Pats have 1 of the best QBs in the league and the best coach.

They weren't a field goal favorite @ Mile High for no reason.

Denver's offense did very little after the 1st drive really. It's just them doing very little doesn't really stick out to you because that is expected at this point.

Defying you really think this game changes the line on these teams? NE is 70% on a neutral field easy.

Easy to say that when the times the situation has comeup have been at home at + money.

It's a great win but their D played as well as they could've and NE missed OT because of a XP.

Denver's offense is pretty bad. Worst offense to be in the superbowl since Rex was in full effects.

making too much of the final score..

If it was that close, denver plays the last 3 drives very differently.

I took a QB making his 2nd ever start against NE...

I dont think people know how great this defense is. It's special. Ravens special. NE has no OL.
I dont care where they play, whats the spread. I'm taking Denver every time because strength vs weakness

It was a 1 possession game the last 3 drives. Not like their offense was humming before that and then they took the foot off the gas the last 3 drives. They had under 300 yards today for a reason. It was a 1 possession game the entire game even.

And why would "QB making his 2nd start" even matter? Not like there is some huge difference between Peyton and the Brocket Launcher.

and how many yards did brady have before that final 3 drives.

say what you wnt, broncos match up perfectly with the patriots

Patriots shouldn't have been favored on the road.

lets face it though ... If Brady doesn't stink things up with his two bad picks, the extra point wouldn't have mattered

Look at this way, go through every starting player DEN vs NE, youd be shocked how few Patriots are on your team

A lot of advantages get negated when you have one of the best QBs vs one of the worst.

Nobody is saying Denver doesn't matchup well with NE. Obviously between their pass rush and Harris covering Edelman they matchup better than anyone else but it was still an upset IMO.

I thought i twas a great game decided by the players. The defenses from both teams came to play today. This game reminded me of really the only way a team can beat Brady, hit the hell out of him. Eli Manning didn't win those SB's, the Giants defense did because they constantly put pressure on Brady. Denver did that today.

Denver won today, could just as easily lose if they played again next week imo.

It might have felt that way right after the game because Denver was an underdog at home and NE is considered the superior team going in.

NE was a missed XP away from being about -125 to win in OT and would be around -230 on a neutral field pretty much anyday of the week.

Nice win for the Broncos but it was definitely an upset.
Everyone has an opinion. To me, Denver was the far superior team, which did surprise me. But I would bet on Denver to win more than 5 out of 10 in a series.

"No doubt about it?"

Huh? If Gostkowski doesn't miss a 499/500 extra point (ending a 9 year streak), the game is tied in regulation.

Seems like there's a lot of doubt there to me?
Pats got owned today, sorry. I could be wrong on who the better team is over a season. But Denver was just better today.

I think if they played 10 times on neutral field the pats probably win 7 or 8. Big advantage at home for Broncos and they played better than pats today.

Pats would have a much better chance against the Panthers. Dont think Broncos will be able to move the ball down the field. Id take Carolina -7 against the Broncos, a gift.
