If one team is -400, the likelihood for them to lose outright is REALLY slim. Kind of like Ohio State losing to Youngstown State rather than OSU winning in overtime.

If you are worried that there will be a draw, you just lay heavier odds to take the favorite at a pick'em (PK).

I always use the Draw No Bet option with my book on heavy favs. Usually its like 1.12-1.23 odds but a win is a win. Draws are just to common in soccer IMO thats why i always use the pk.

"Draw no bet" is the way to go sometimes. I have a site that posts a side "to win OR draw". Obviously the pay out amount suffers but it is another way to manage the risk.

Timing and money management is what this gambling thing is all about, right?

Just imagine the joys of betting American college football. Consider you will win $1000 if a 18 year old freshman can kick an extra point. Only problem is his team is already ahead by a 3-4 touchdowns, the clock is down to single digits and his main concern is "can I get laid tonight"! Your bet is not exactly high on his list of priorities. Sometimes you can tell by the groans or cheers from the fans if the spread has just being covered or not.

But, it's better than the job that requires "you want fries with that" as part of your customer service.
