But all you have to do is check my past threads and see that I do not take favorites that high because I do not take monyelines, always puck lines. So if you do know hockey, then you will know that once a line gets to like -180 or so at -.5 then it shoots up to -1.5 to bring the action back down to earth. But just check in the NBA forum starting at about NOV 5th or so and you will see who I took. I think that i started Hockey at about Nov8th but i am not sure. Oh and I counted that deleted game as a loss if my losses dont add up correctly. I am still waiting to see if you can even go 50% over a weeks action. Why not start a post in the hockey forum? Just list your picks everyday! The contest doesnt count because they may not be your best plays. I wouldnt want to use your contest picks cause you could do better certainly by not playing so many games!
On that matter, can anyone explain to RPM that the contest which he currently has set up for the NBA wont create a handicapping champion! He has it set up where there are 3 picks a day max and 93 pics max per month. Well actually he would need to lower the above number cause some days only have 2 games. I believe that 3 days have only 2 games and 2 days have no games, or something like that.
Well anyway, my point is that why should someone HAVE to pick 3 games a day?? It will hurt everyone's record in the long haul. And what if someone actually has a life and cant post everyday?? I am sure that wont happen around here with everyone having sex with their computer, but what if someone gets sick? Then they are already screwed about of 3 possible points. SO basically, guys like Dicky here will get there 90 or max plays and go like 42-48 and win the contest. Whereas other players might go somethig like 40-25 but dont have enough plays by the end of the month. I mean this is a self scoring contest. it is not like at the end of the month one has to check EVERY single posters record, only check the top 5 or so. It wont be that hard. I am sure that there are several assholes out there that will be checking records of EVERYONE, EVERYDAY, EVERYHOUR, you listening Dicky?? We are counting on you, you are the man!!!
Here is how I would do it if anyone cares, and I am sure that no one does. Make the maximum selections a day at like 6. Make the maximum number of plays maybe 60. Then if soemone wants to pass on a certain day, then they wont lose anything. It only makes sense. Now i know that quite a few of you out there cant add (Dicky you still listening), but it wont be that hard to get everyone's record at the end of the month since Dicky has agreed to check everyone's record, EVERY NIGHT!!
