Life's Short, Get a Divorce

560 AM WIND's John & Cisco morning show listeners debated a new billboard in downtown Chicago featuring perfect bodies with the words "Life's Short, Get a Divorce," an all-female divorce attorney firm ad.
Not only is the billboard provocative, its location is mentionable. Placed right in the middle of Chicago's "Viagra Triangle" at State & Rush near Gibson's, Ditka's et al, where old guys pick up young girlfriends, some are calling for the billboard to be taken down.

Illinois' a no-fault divorce state, and its fairly easy to choose that route, WIND callers argued, why not get out? Others said marriage shouldn't be dispensible and the sign should come down.
Here's some other ideas for equally cynical billboards appealing to a hedonists everywhere: "Babies cry, get rid of 'em," "Teens bug, squash 'em" or "Hate your job? Quit!"
Not hard to believe this ad would appear in a state that refuses to constitutionally protect the one-man/one-woman marriage standard.
