Can you clarify exactly what the following mean (and I apologize if you've covered this elsewhere)?

"Big Fav"
"Huge offensive game"
"close loss"
"rested"
"decent rest"
"bad teams"
"big dogs"
"good underdogs"
"terrible dog"

I'm assuming you have some sort of quantifiable measure for these?

of course i do ... but i give you the layman's version vs the exact #'s. terrible dogs and bad teams usually have to do with winning %...same with good underdogs. big favs are never lower than -165...some categories start at -180 (like chicago) others start in the -200's. close loss is usually 1 .... decent rest always means at least 1 day. big dogs would be opposite of the big fav #. huge offensive game start at 4 goals scored...

LAK = bet on big home fav off great offense. 258-88 ...also meets 121-34 and 39-11 subsets
LAK = bet on home fav after away shutout. 43-16 / 6-3
DAL = play on home fav off b2b2b multiple goal defeats vs opponent off close game (32-7 / 1-1)
ARI = play on poor home dog with revenge on 2-3 game losing streak. 53-38 / 2-1
TBL = oppose big dog, terrible team, that lost by 2+ goals at home in last meeting. 124-35 / 6-2
TBL = bet on big home fav off great offense. 258-88 ...also meets 121-34 and 39-11 subsets
TBL = bet on big home fav that won h2h last meeting. 28-2 2014
TBL = bet hom home fav off a shutout, 1h season. 162-72 / 16-5
BUF = bet on terrible away dog after getting shut out. 56-27 / 7-1
FLA = bet on big home fav that won h2h last meeting. 28-2 2014
WAS = bet on home fav vs opponent that was just away fav. 152-70 / 19-13, meets 77-29 and 50-12 subsets

yeah, would cancel....i list both as they're each significant cats for me.

but if there was every a day to play buffalo it's today. probably my favorite dog category which is +164% all-time including 7-1 this year ... if i was making a play on that game would be half unit Buffalo regulation +285

this year it's +218% ROI but that's OT included ... only 1 of those 7 wins needed OT

i think you're asking me to take out "revenge" and substitute with "3+ defeat"? dont understand. the query itself involved a team on 2-3 game losing streak after losing last game by 3+

anyway, same query as system (which is the original system....revenge is a subset) brings 75-63 +124%

sure, just look at the oilers query above with the p:streak<-6 which means previous streak (before this game) at least 7 straight losses. the opposite of that, 7 straight wins, would have been p:streak>6

to find current winning streaks for today just type "team and streak and date=20141210"

winning streaks are positive #'s so to query current 5+ gamer would be "streak>=5" and current 5+ losing streak is "streak<=-5"
same with ou streaks ... over streak of 5+ is "ou streak>=5" and 5+ under streak is "ou streak<=-5"
