NHL Preseason Overtime rules?

Is there overtime and/or shoot out in Preseason NHL?

Is it possible for a game to tie at all?

as far as i know, same rules apply to pre-season

I am not that familiar with NHL rules, Is it possible to tie in regular season?

So there is 1 overtime period that is sudden death or play the entire amount of time? and if there is still not a winner then go to shoot out, right? And shoot out must produce a winner?

Ive bet plenty of hockey..
if tied after regulation, 3 on 3 overtime (sudden death) for 5 minutes, if nobody scores than it goes to a shootout ...shootout will produce a winner

i know for offshore always check to make sure OT is included with your bet.. 3 way lines are for regulation only
