NFL3 Late Season Survivor
Entry Fee: #50, 3 for #125.
The contest begins Sunday, November 24. Signups will be accepted until Saturday at Midnight.
-You must pick one team to win its game each week. Ties lose.
-The top 6 highest favorites will be ineligible to be chosen. That list will be announced on Tuesday.
-If your pick loses its game, that entry will be eliminated from the contest.
-You CAN pick the same team twice throughout the contest.
REBUYS
For the first week of the contest, you can buyback into the contest should you make a losing selection. All rebuys are #75.
-From Week 2 on, all eliminations are final and there are no further buybacks.
-Buybacks are not required, but if you do buyback, the fee must be received before the weekend games. -If the buyback fee has not been received, that entry will be removed from the contest.
PICK DEADLINE
-All picks are due Saturday night at Midnight ET, unless there is a Thursday or Saturday game, from which it will be due by Noon on that day. An e-mail will follow with a spreadsheet of all that week’s picks. Late picks will be accepted up to this point, however it is never a guarantee when the sheet will be released each week, so it is advised to get your picks in as early as possible, as you can always change them prior to the deadline.
-You must verify your picks for any errors. If the error is my fault, I will correct it prior to the first game starting for that weekend. When the 1PM games kick off, the SPREADSHEET BECOMES FINAL, and any errors that might exist will stand, regardless of who made the error. If such an error results in your having a duplicate pick, that entry will then be eliminated from the contest.
-If you do not submit a pick by the deadline, entries will be eliminated and you cannot buyback in.
POSTSEASON
This contest can bleed into the NFL Playoffs. If so, you will have to pick one team per round, and there are no restrictions on favorites in the playoffs.
ADDITIONAL PICKS
-If there are more than 30 entries going into Week 17, you must make 2 picks for Week 17 only. The playoffs will only ever require one pick per week.
-If there are no 2-pick winners, then all 1-pick winners will advance. If there are no 1-pick winners, then all entries are brought back into the contest.
-If at any point, there is a sole survivor after a week is over, that entry will be deemed the winner of the contest. If multiple entries survive the entire schedule, they will split the prize. Once the contest is narrowed down to minimal entries, splits can be proposed. They will be accommodated for as long as the split/chop is a unanimous vote.
