Had a rough start to last week w/ college and the early games in the NFL but I rebounded very nicely, finished the week in NFL 4-4 +$2.9 units. YTD is now 24-13 ATS for +22.50 units. I use a 1-3* or unit system w/ each unit being a $100 bet. Here is what I'm on this weekend:
Sunday:
Giants -6.5, 2 units: Detroit is still a little banged up and the Giants defense has really impressed me. NYG lost only in week 1 to Philly, currently the best team in the NFL IMO. NY is 4-1 ATS and I like them to take care of this young Detroit team by more than a TD. Warner may have found his home as he seems to be comfortable back there w/ this group of guys.
Prediction: NY 26 Det 10
*I may play the under here real small but it doesn't leave a great margin for error taking the fav against an offense like Detroit who "can" put up points and then take an under. Under is 7-1 L8 home games for NY and is also 5-16-1 O/U in Oct.
Chargers +4, 2 units: I don't see any reason that SD doesn't win here. They are the best coached team in the NFL right now and are playing w/out any respect still. They have only lost to Denver and Atlanta both on the road and then at home to a very tough Jets team!! Denver and NYJ are both top 5 teams right now and the Atlanta D is very good. This is not the Carolina of old and the defense is not the same. I said it in the preseason and I'm saying it again they are a joke and SD will win this one by at least TD! SD's D isn't the best but Carolina can't score anyway only avg 15ppg. SD is 5-1-1 ATS L6 and Carolina is 2-7 L9 at home ATS! I expect this line to drop fast!
Prediction: SD 30 Car 17
Atlanta +4, 2 units: Again, I see an upset. KC isn't the same and I think this Atlanta D will contain them. KC this year can't win close games and this one will be close. KC's D will NOT contain Michael Vick. I know I'm going out on a limb by saying that (not) but Atlanta knows how to contain the rush and not to let Hall catch any balls on special teams! KC is 3-10 L13 ATS.

Eagles -7, 3 units: I just can't resist here. Ride the streaks fellas, why not. You are making a bad choice anytime you try to buck streaks, you ride em til they buck. If you think otherwise then good, I need guys like you so I have a nice place to stay in Vegas! Philly: 5-0 ATS this year, 15-3 L18, 10-3 L13 as a fav, and the schedule strength heavely favors the Eagles here. Although, I like the Browns, they haven't really done anything yet... They beat Cincy and Washington, big deal so has everyone else! Philly is pounding people every week and beating good teams. They will do it here as the best road team in the NFL

Monday Night Football:
Denver -5.5, 3 units: Cincy is a joke and Denver will open the hole for anybody they put in the backfield for another 150 yd rushing game. Plummer fits in w/ the Denver offense as well as he can fit in anywhere. Again, streaks.... Dinver is 7-1 ATs L8 road games and 5-2 L7 against Cincy, Cincy 0-5 ATS YTD, Cincy 1 win this year SU and that was against a Miami team, by only 3 at home, who will most likely not win a game all year!! Denver is 5-1 and pounding some weaker opponents w/ ease.
Prediction: Denver 30 Cincy 9
