I am going to let the first week pass without a side! Going with totals this week but will add at least 1 monster teaser before Sun. Been working hard on quite a few total angles, I am really looking forward to winning some $ this year betting the over & unders.

Bills/NE (UNDER 46.5)

These two teams over the last few years have a history with the under. I expect another tight low scoring game this time.

StJoe,
GL week 1, any thoughts on The Saints. Their offense is 100%, going against secondary starting 2 rookies. I was going to bet, but NO have 4 starters out on defense. How many points can you see NO scoring?.

Not much news out of Saints camp so for, mighty tighted lipped about the defense. When asked about the Saints D earlier this week, Haslett just smiled & gave a wink. Being the dog here on the road I am starting to like the Saints chances to win this game as they are a very good road team. Now for the negative side, they don't have a good track record vs Seattle. With that said I expect the Saints to win this game based on offense alone. Also I expect the Saints defense to make a suprise appearence! I really like the Saints here & may add this game to my plays, but for now it is still a no play for me.

StJoe,
I was all ready to go on the Saints with Jones & Terry being out. I thought Grant & Howard would take advantage and slow down their passing game. All of a sudden Jones signs and Grant & howard are doubtful, now I cant see how they are going to stop them. Instead of betting the spread side +2 I am considering betting the saints @ 33pts. 1pt per point, 25pts for win.
As always with spread betting the downside can be horrendous. what worries me also , Arizona is the only other team Iam looking at

I agree way to many varibles here in this game. I think there are much better sides out there, this game could go either way in a blow out, or could end up a shootout. From a betting stand point I don't like this game at all, after being back and forth on it all week.

Thanks for the info Joe, Seattles Offense worried me all week. I have now backed the spread New Orleans -3 V Carolina. GL for the season.

One Monster Teaser & Recap.

Bills/NE (UNDER 46.5)

Monster 10pt 3-Teamer

Balt/Pitt (Over 29)
Falcons +12
Broncos +4

A short week for me because I don't see a whole lot of value out there this week. Although the Lions look like they might be a solid chalk play to me. GL everyone!

2-0 on the day. I am still kicking my ass over not taking Detroit today like I knew I should. A great start to this year I hope everyone started out with winners.

NFL YTD 2-0

Monster Teasers 1-0
Sides 0-0
Totals 1-0
