Breshad Perriman's college coach, ex-UCF coach Sean Beckton, says Perriman recently told him he was "100 percent recovered" from last year's PCL injuries.

The 26th overall pick in last year's draft, Perriman missed his entire rookie season due to a torn PCL and subsequent setbacks. The Ravens have been noncommittal on his availability for OTAs. "(Perriman) came here last week and his spirits were high," Beckton said. "He said he was 100 percent and couldn't wait to get back out on the field with his teammates. He'll be on the field when practice starts." The Ravens will find out on May 24.

A league source told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Browns coach Hue Jackson prefers Jared Goff over Carson Wentz.

NFL Network's Mike Silver and ex-Browns website writer Vic Carucci have reported similar things. There have been conflicting reports on whether the Rams will select Goff or Wentz at No. 1 overall. It's believed the Cowboys at No. 4 and Eagles at No. 8 both prefer Wentz to Goff, giving Wentz two more potential landing spots in the top ten should Los Angeles take Goff. If Goff does go to L.A., Philadelphia and Dallas (seemingly more likely Philly) could come into play as potential trade partners for the No. 2 overall pick.

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline reports the 49ers and Cowboys are interested in trading for Ryan Mathews if the Eagles make him available.

Mathews will likely only become available if the Eagles nab Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott with the No. 8 overall pick. However, according to Pauline, the Eagles would be unlikely to trade Mathews to a division rival (Cowboys) or the team led by its former coach in Chip Kelly (49ers). Mathews is currently penciled in as the Eagles' starting running back, but he's not the three-down workhorse back new coach Doug Pederson seems to prefer in his backfield.

Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott said he feels the Eagles are showing the most interest in him at this point.

Elliott is on ESPN's campus Friday. The Eagles swapped first-round picks with the Dolphins last month, moving up five spots from No. 13 overall to No. 8. It still might not be high enough to nab Elliott, but Philadelphia has been heavily rumored to be interested in a possible trade-up. It may have to jump Dallas at No. 4 overall to secure Elliott. If he does end up falling to No. 8, we think the Eagles would run the card to the podium with Elliott's name on it.

The Bears exercised the fifth-year option on star OL Kyle Long, keeping him under contract through 2017.

A three-time Pro Bowler, Long's fifth-year option will pay him $8.821 million. Long is now signed for the next two seasons at a below-market $10.36 million after zero-time Pro Bowler Kelechi Osemele landed a five-year, $58.5 million deal from the Raiders in free agency. Exercising the option was an easy choice for the Bears, who beefed up their line by signing Bobby Massie, Manny Ramirez and Ted Larsen during the offseason. Long will return to right guard this year after playing out of position at right tackle in 2015.

Steelers have released cornerback Cortez Allen, team announced today.

The Steelers are finally admitting defeat after signing Allen to a ludicrous five-year, $26 million extension in 2014. Allen missed all but one game last season while battling knee issues and struggled mightily the year before. Cutting Allen saves the Steelers $1.7 million in cap space. With Allen and Antwon Blake out of the picture, Ross Cockrell will move into a starting role opposite William Gay.

Texans exercised WR DeAndre Hopkins' fifth-year option for 2017.

It's a no-brainer for the Texans after Hopkins posted career highs last season, finishing top three in the NFL in both catches (111) and yards (1,521). With his 2017 option valued at $7.915 million, Hopkins is signed for $10.3M the next two years. Houston should extend him before the 2017 season.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Browns' desire to trade out of the No. 2 overall pick has "intensified" since the Rams moved into the No. 1 overall position.

La Canfora is one of the NFL insiders who believes Cleveland prefers Cal's Jared Goff over North Dakota State's Carson Wentz, and that the Rams will draft Goff. "Goff is and was the Browns' guy," La Canfora tweeted. If the Browns are desperate enough to move down, it's possible the No. 2 pick could go for a slight discount. That could benefit the Eagles, who are known to covet Wentz.

The owner of a trashed multi-million-dollar Hollywood home rented by free agent Johnny Manziel last week claims a person identifying himself as suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon was in the house with Manziel.

The L.A. house was notoriously damaged and strewn with alcohol and drugs, to the extent Manziel has been billed $32,000. Landlord Nicholas Goodwin says he never saw Manziel or Gordon drinking or doing drugs, but did see "what appeared to be cocaine on a table and other substances that appeared to be mushrooms and marijuana when the two were in the home." Gordon is also believed to have picked up Manziel following a late-night/early-morning hit-and-run incident in L.A. last Saturday night. Agent Drew Rosenhaus recently stated he is confident Gordon will be reinstated from suspension and play the 2016 season.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office plans to re-examine LeSean McCoy's alleged involvement in a brawl at a Philadelphia-area nightclub in February.

The fight left two off-duty officers hospitalized. "I think it’s completely accurate to say LeSean McCoy and anyone else allegedly involved in this incident are not totally cleared," Solicitor General Bruce Castor said. The Philadelphia D.A.'s office declined to press charges on McCoy or anyone else involved in the incident because of both a lack of evidence and the questionable behavior of the officers leading to and following the melee. It is likely the Attorney General's office comes to the same conclusion. The NFL is not expected to hand down discipline related to this incident, but that could change if any new evidence is dredged up.

Tony Romo said he is already "throwing fully" following March surgery on his left collarbone.

Romo underwent a "Mumford procedure" on his thrice-broken left collarbone in early March. The operation is expected to help prevent the bone from breaking again. "I can throw fully," Romo said. "I've been throwing fully here for a good week and a half, two weeks. It's been good." The Cowboys will likely limit him during the offseason program, but Romo will be fully healthy well before training camp.

Franchise-tagged OLB Von Miller will not attend Denver's offseason program.

Miller has yet to sign his $14.1 million franchise tender. He won't participate in any offseason work as an unsigned player. Miller is seeking $22M annually, with the Broncos latest offer reportedly in the $18M range. The sides have until July 15 to work out an extension.

Seahawks agreed to terms with CB Brandon Browner on a one-year contract.

Browner was arguably the NFL's worst cornerback in New Orleans last season -- notoriously committing 23 penalties and getting routinely dusted deep -- but claims he played through a torn MCL. Now entering his age-32 campaign, Browner will try to salvage his career where it began after the Seahawks signed him out of the CFL in 2011. Browner still has long arms and a huge body (6'4/221). He'll compete with Jeremy Lane, Deshawn Shead, Tharold Simon, and perhaps a draft pick for snaps across from Richard Sherman.
