Titans acquired picks Nos. 15, 43, 45 and 76 in the 2016 draft as well as first- and third-round picks next year from the Rams in exchange for the No. 1, No. 113 and No. 177 overall picks.
New GM Jon Robinson said he wanted a "King's ransom" for the No. 1 overall pick, and he got it. All in all, the Titans landed two first rounders, two second rounders and two third rounders for the top overall selection, a fourth rounder and sixth rounder. Tennessee now has six picks in the top 76 of this year's draft and are set up to have five in the first two days of next year's draft. Robinson said all of that ammunition gives the team options. "This move does not knock us out of any player, except one," Robinson said. "We now have the ammunition to work the draft and acquire players that are going to be good for this football team." With so many early-round picks in the next two drafts, the Titans are in a great position to build a strong roster around sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota.
