It will be the 2nd and 3 rd lines who decide the outcome, and that’s where I favor Miami. Ricky Williams is listed as the 4th-string back on the depth chart, which means he could see some quality carries against defenders who will be cut in a few days. Williams obviously has a lot to prove but he has been impressive thus far. he looks as speedy as ever. He has got a fair share of carries in camp, and he seems to be making the most of the opportunities.
The quarterback situation also favors Miami. They will throw a solid preseason rotation of A.J. Feeley, Gus Frerotte, and Sage Rosenfels at the Bears. When you go against teams playing rookie quarterbacks in the 2nd half, especially early in the exhibition season. These young QBs are unfamiliar with the offensive scheme, and the speed of NFL defenders gives them trouble. Chicago will start Grossman, but follow up with the unproven Chad Hutchinson, before handing the ball to rookie Kyle Orton. Orton worked primarily out of the shotgun at Purdue, so the fourth-round pick is adjusting to taking the snap from center. like most young quarterbacks making the jump from college to pro.he has struggled at times with his accuracy
Veteran Dolphin defender, Sam Madison thinks the Dolphins will put extra emphasis on the preseason this year in an attempt to build some momentum and erase the memories of continually coming up short in 2004. “It is contagious," Madison, a four-time Pro Bowl cornerback, said in between practices Friday. "When you start to win one game, you start feeling good about yourself”. The Dolphins could also be inspired both by seeing their greatest player, Dan Marino, being saluted as the latest Hall of Fame inductee, and by trying to prove something from the outset to Saban.
In Lovie Smith’s first year as head coach, the Bears played very conservatively producing four straight ‘under’ tickets in the preseason. The Dolphins also went ‘under’ in 3 of 4 last year as well. Both teams are trying to jump start their offenses, but they certainly have a ways to go with new schemes, players, and coaches, which should help keep the score UNDER the total in this game, as well.
I have also noticed from the previous years a team gaining momentom nearing the end of the season (more winning of games) carries it to the next year and in this case Miami gets the nod, As well Miami is my favourite team anyway
My pick for this game is
Under 35 1.5 units
Mia +3 1.5 units

YTD 0-1 -2.2 Units
