I don't know when this happened but now 5 of the 6 NFL Europe teams are located in Germany. Rhein, Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, and now Hamburg are all located in Germany and all of these teams actually draw crowds. The only team still around located outside of Germany is Amsterdam and they've been having financial trouble as well lately. They should just move Amsterdam to Munich and call it NFL Germany, because that's the only place in Europe where American football is really popular anyways. The team in Scotland failed, the team in London failed, the team in Barcelona failed, while the team in Frankfurt is the only team to have been around since the league's inception as the World Football League in 1991. By the way, fade Amsterdam all year. I don't care who their allocated players are, last year Amsterdam and Scotland had the worst records in the league. Why? No home crowds, extra travel time, and a general apathy among the players/fans. Factor in that Amsterdam is the #1 distraction place in the world and its easy to see why you bet against this team all season long.
