According to The Miami Herald, Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is unlikely to see any action in his team’s next game thanks to an ankle injury.
The Dolphins have a short week, with an impending Thursday night game in Carolina, and are 3-point underdogs with a Total of 43.5.
Brown’s absence will cause many problems for Miami as he not only is its primary tailback but the main triggerman for its Wildcat formation as well.
The Wildcat is a big reason the Dolphins have the the third and fourth-best rushing attack in the AFC and NFL respectively.
Brown suffered the injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s 25-23 home win over Tampa Bay, where Miami failed to cover at -10.5.
He did not return to the game and it is currently not known how much time he will miss–it is not a season ending injury however.
