The Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts will meet up on the second Monday Night Football week of the year. The Colts were a good team last year but one thing that kept them from being a Super Bowl contender was the lack of a consistent running game and the lack of secondary wide receiving threat opposite of Reggie Wayne. After one week of action, it's pretty clear that those same problems linger.
The Colts drafted Donald Brown in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft but he made a very little impact in the opener and on top of that, the Colts lost wideout Anthony Gonzalez for a prolonged period of time.
For the Dolphins, they have to figure out what's wrong with their offensive line. They spent $155 million over the last two years on this unit but they were a disaster in Week 1. They allowed four sacks and never gave Chad Pennington enough time to throw. That has to change for Monday night or they are going to be 0-2.
If the Dolphins can pass protect and can get their running game going, they should have a pretty good chance to win. If those facets fail, they are going to still be winless heading to Week 3.
