Only 3 more weeks left to get your name on the list of teams in the
2003 NFL Beat the Best contest...Less than 15 spots remain and these
are filling up fast for what I consider the best contest and prize
structure I have ever run...We play this contest exactly like the NFL
season. 2 Leagues, with 4 divisions of 4 teams each. You play a
Head-to-Head schedule for 17 weeks (no byes). At the end of this we
crown division champions, and setup the playoff structure. While the
NFL is running it's real playoffs, we are also running our playoffs,
picking the games right through to the Super Bowl. Last year when
Tampa Bay and Oakland were squaring off against each other in the
Super Bowl, Brad North and Avery Walkin were going head to head
against each other for the big prizes. Avery Walkin won in a close
matchup of 5 picks and won the big prize. This year we have added the
$25 bonus for picking a perfect 5 for 5 week. What more could you ask
for in an NFL picks contest? Big prizes at the end, the chance to win
a prize every week and the contest is virtually FREE! You can compete
in this contest and play all year long for free and play for the
smaller prizes. Or you can make a minimum of a $100 deposit into our
Sponsor Gameday's, offshore sportsbook and play for the big time
prizes. It's your $100 to bet and win...how much easier could it get?
How great would it be to drop 5 $20 bets the first week of the year
and hit them all and have them be your picks in Beat the Best. A $25
bonus, a big payday on Monday morning, and a victory in Week 1. Check
out the official rules/details:

Rules: 32 contestants in a full season Head-to-Head handicapping
contest based on the NFL schedule and playoffs. Picks must be made
off the Posted lines that I will post from the Tuesday morning,
BetGameDay lines. All picks must be made by Thursday, Midnight EDT.

Each player will choose 5 NFL games ATS (Against the Spread) and
matchup against his/her opponent for that week. A push counts as a
half-point win. Each player will post a "Gold Pick" which will be
used as a tie-breaker.

There are two prize structures for this contest. To be eligible for
the Big Money Prize Structure you must open up a new BetGameDay
account and make at least a $100 deposit into your account or re-load
your current account with a $100 deposit. If you don't make your
deposit by Week 6 of the NFL season you are only eligible for the Free
Prize Structure.

Big Money Prize Structure:

Super Bowl Winner: $750 BetGameDay account prize with rollover
Super Bowl Runner-Up: $250 BetGameDay account prize with rollover
Regular Season Total % Winner: $100 BetGameDay account prize with
rollover
Any 5 for 5 perfect weeks: $25 BetGameDay account prize with rollover

Free Money Prize Structure:

Super Bowl Winner: $100 BetGameDay account prize with rollover
Super Bowl Runner-up: $50 BetGameDay account prize with rollover
Regular Season Total % Winner: $50 BetGameDay account prize with
rollover
Any 5 for 5 perfect weeks: No Prize Bonus

The schedule and playoff format for this contest are exactly like the
NFL, with the exception of the BYE weeks (no team has a bye during the
season). For the Conference Championship and Super Bowl, we will add
in Totals and Special Props for the contestants to pick from as there
won't be 5 different plays for a weekend.

That is the basic gist of the rules...I tried real hard this year to
make this a free contest, so that you didn't have to put up any
up-front money to join. I am really pleased with the prizes that we
are offering this year, including the prize for perfect weeks. If you
are interested in signing up for this great contest for 2003...please
send me an email and you will be sent all the information.
On a side note...if you are a BetGameDay account member...they
currently are offering a 20% reload bonus...which is real nice...if
you are not a member, they are also offering a 20% new member bonus.
So either way you are pretty set.
