Gavin Newsom is trying to rebrand himself as he tours CA trying to get Californians to ignore the damage of his policies. It didn’t work for Kamala but it looks like Gavin didn’t get the memo. It’s his actual policies that are hurting our regions. Instead of demonizing and lecturing us - he should actually stop and listen. Newsom’s regulations have limited water supplies to our communities and businesses and he refuses to build water storage infrastructure. He refuses to allow for more local domestic energy production resulting in job losses and higher energy prices. In fact, he is actively trying to stop oil and gas production making California more reliant on foreign sources of energy. His CARB appointees just voted to increase gas prices even more. In addition, he has prohibited the use of carbon capture technology for oil exploration and limiting the investment in energy infrastructure. Newsom refuses to allow for more road and highway capacity to be built. His own agencies have harmed the supply chain by crushing our trucking, rail and warehouse industries. Mandates threaten to limit port operations that will harm our supply chain operations. And the list goes on and on. Gavin Newsom needs to reexamine his taxes, regulations and misplaced priorities that have increased costs on everyone and hurt hard working Californians. There is a reason why industries, businesses and people are fleeing to other states - it’s because of Gavin Newsom’s own policies.
