Hi, I am familiar with the over/under bet and the ATS bet, but there is a type of play that I am not familiar with. Could someone please explain to me?

Example:
Philly +110
KC -105

What do the number +110 and -105 represents? Yardage?

Thanks!

so i will attempt to address ur question

the line that has + next to it means that for every $100 wagered you get the + back
example Philly +110 means you get $110 for every $100 wagered

when a team has - next to it,that is what you need to wager in order to win $100

KC -105 means that you need to bet $105 to win $100

the whole line is set to $100 basically so you see -150 for example and that means you need to bet $150 to win $100

+ means what you win if you bet $100
- is what you need to bet to win the $100

i hope i got it right and hope it helps

Nergock:

I prefer to bet with a certain amount risked. Therefore when I make a bet with $100 risked on a -200 bet, that bet must be calculated as a fraction of $100. In this case, the amount I would win if the bet won would be $100/200 or $50. If I were to bet on a +110 game with $100 risked and the bet won, I would win $110.

In other words, when betting on a certain amount risked, take $100 divided by the negative amount to find your winnings. If you lose the bet, you lose the entire $100.
