Underestimate the Knicks at your own peril. They may be down 3-2 in this series and playing in hostile territory on Friday night but they have the chops to overcome and make the doubters pay. Well, I’m a believer in this New York team and although they are far from perfect, they do come with a boatload of grit and determination.
New York’s Brunson had 38 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in the Knicks’ 112-103 Game 5 victory and if Immanuel Quickley can get back in uniform after a two-game absence due to a sprained ankle this will bode well for the Knicks.
The oddsmakers are giving us a generous 5 ½ point head start and I believe that’s enough to get us across the finish line because even if the Knicks don’t win, I can easily see them staying within the margins.
