England Premier League
-Aston Villa vs Tottenham-
Tottenham have been on one hell of a scoring run lately, its as if their attacking powers have been on a mission to overcome all the mistakes their defense has been making by conceding so many goals. The goal conceding needs to stop, and it is not nearly as bad as it is on the road as it is at home. It seems that Spurs play such an attacking game at home that they start leaving a lot of holes open, but while on the road they tighten up. I think the defense is going to do this exact thing against Aston Villa, who are likely to miss Carew for the clash. I think that Tottenham are going to keep their winning form going and take this one.

-Arsenal vs West Ham-
West Ham must be feeling great about their win against Manchester United, but they better not have be partying into the New Year so hard because they are going to a fortress right after their partying is over. Lately West Ham has been doing well against their away games against Arsenal, winning their last 2 trips there. I think its going to be different this time around. Arsenal know Manchester United have an "easy" task taking on Birmingham and they should be going out for the kill against West Ham. Only gross thing about it is that the spread is -1.5, so hopefully its a convincing win.

-Reading vs Portsmouth-
Portsmouth need to get things going and start scoring goals again, and they get the perfect opportunity to do so to start the New Year. They head into a clash against Reading, who have been a conceding machine this season. I think Pompey should be able to find the back of the net against Reading and Reading should be able to do the same.
