Time to hammer one.
Well, all 4 games of the opening Round of 16 for the Euros went under. Day 2 is today.
Cro/Czech play today and Czech may have been the best under team in th 1st stage. Of their 5 games, 4 of them went under. The one that went over was b/c of overtime. In fact, were it not for that OT, then Czech would lead the field in fewest pts allowed.... and their adjusted avg would be 65.2 pts/game.
They gave up an avg of 29.2 pts/game for the 1H. Cro gave up an avg of 31.6 pts/game for 1H.

I have a theory (not really a theory, but whatever) that I call "the cumulative energy theory". It explains Fed's loss to Murray in the gold medal match after his 2012 Wimbledon win... and also his following 2012 USO loss to Berdych. It is the undercurrent in the system which is sustained by a reservoir of energy. As with anything, when it approaches levels of depletion... the obvious outcomes result.
Fed got obliterated in the gold medal match... but this was on the heels of the 2012 Wimbledon win and the emotion of the Olympics. He was almost destined to lose that match. Then the carry over effect to the 2012 USO vs Berdych.
The reason why I bring this up is b/c Djok is suffering from a similar fate..... finals in the AO, the FO and finally Wimbldn. He was lethargic and almost ill during the Canada/Cincy campaign.... and he has been off during this USO. It is the physical, emotional, psychological strain.... expressed in a cumulative manner that has him off. I also believe this is part of the explanation for why his success at the USO has been somewhat muted.
If Fed serve doesn't vanish vs Djok (and there have been times when it has almost completely disappeared.. and this not based on Djok's returning prowess), then I strongly favor Fed. Something simply tells me that Djok will wither in this match.
Anyways... UNDER.... and then FED.
