I found this site through a google search. I had checked out some other handicapping sites, but this seemed like one of the better ones. The only sport I really follow any more is the NFL. I don't bet at any online sites but like to play in survivor type formats. I come here to read different people's opinions and analysis.

I realized how valuable these forums can be, and how listening to what the people experienced at sports betting can be just as vital as looking at stats to handicap a game.
What I also learned is that some people at these forums don't really care about what you say, and just want to put you down - instead of generating constructive criticism.
I hope the people here at the Rx are more tolerant of newbies like me, but understand there are people at all these forums who are rough around the edges, but if they know what they are talking about, I will try to listen, and listen carefully.
I mainly bet the NFL because I was interested in using excel to generate power ranking for the team as a hobby; however, I love all sports and will bet anything from the NCAA, Golf, Tennis to upcoming elections.

Being a newbie, some ppl will bust your chops....if you post picks they will think you wanna go tout or are a ghost of someone else.
Just ignore people that get mad at you (they are just mad cause they lost money, i get mad too)....the info you can gain from other perspectives far outweighs the crap you might have to put up with.
