We will start another baseball contest in a few weeks. It will be an additional contest and the free contest will contiune. I am just trying to get an idea of hte kind of response we should expect. First of all, anyone currently in the sweet 16 contest has first priority and then kidslick and funksoulbrother are in as well. But we are shooting for either a $250 or a $500 entry fee to posted up at a book and kept in a fund until the end of the contest. We would do the contest either as 16 man contest or a 32 man contest. Just want to get a list of who would be interested in playing in a $500 contest. Be nice if Shrink would throw in $2000 for the winner, but we will see. Either way, we could pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. Should be cool, we could iron out the rules later, but it would be a 1 week match between you and your competitor then the next round would start. Just tell us if you are interested.
Depends on who all get in but you know I will play. Sounds like fun. My only request is we get a 3rd party (like Ham) to run the thing and maybe the winner can kick him a few dollars for his work. I don't think decisions should be made by the folks involved in playing in the thing.
Sounds reasonable, maybe the winner gives the general lets say $200 for running the contest. Should only take about 30 minutes of his time per day and we ALL KNOW that he is already on this site anyway Seems fair. Or maybe the winner doesnt give it to him, but the sportsbook holding the money gives him the money

We could start this contest maybe in 2 weeks sicne the basketball contest wll be down to like 4 people by then. I agree that is a better idea, I was just trying to give a book a big incentive to throwin some cash for the contest as well as our pot! I have an account at Rio but i really dont play there. I may start playing there though. DO they have a 10 cent baseball line? Looks as though I will be out of the basketball contest early, so I may want ot start a baseball contest sooner.

Well it looks as though we probably wont have enough people, but it is a bit early. We have a bout 6 right now, and we need about 20 people "saying" that they will play so we can get the needed 16 people to ACTUALLY play!

Maybe if we play at a new sportsbook for most of us, they will be more receptive to throwing some dough in thepot since they will be getting new members. I am NOTHING against BETRIO, but we are all members there at this time and they may not "throw" us a bone with some extra cash for our contest. I am just trying to get the most value for our buck. Is betrio reading this?? What can you do for us? Or does any other sportsbook want to help us out and get some new customers who are not $10 players?

i have a very good relationship with rio. also, i may be willing to run the contest for you depending on what you have in mind.
Well I have talked with about 7 people who I KNOW will be in. The postup would be like $250-350, hopefully the book could throw in some money as well. We could run it just like the basketball contest. 1 week matches with moneylines and runlines. The person who wins the most money at the end of the week wins his match.

Players -all this sounds good man. I agree with you, how about a new place like Cascade? Rio has enough going on already and I surely don't want RPM running it. Not to be ugly but I have seen the one's this guy has ran, lets not go that way. LOL.
Someone has to stay on top of this idea or it will slip thru the cracks. So far I am alive in the current one so don't count on me yet to do anything as far as setting it up. Someone needs to set the rules up etc... After that we can fine tune it. Whatever we do we need to start early. I could ask if Cascade would throw us a bone if we go that way.
