This is 20 minutes from me. Several coworkers have children that go there.



Supposedly a kid that was expelled a month ago.

happening all over...

Just in my local news / area today....

School A was rumored to have threats against it - was completely untrue. Police had to issue a statement saying it was not real threats.
School B was placed on lockdown after a car backfired 3 times, mistaken for a gun.
School C a student was arrested for making threats to shoot up school on social media...


Everyone is on edge. Sad time.

Can't find anything on the scanner about the issue in Albany.

When you have a 24 hour news cycle sensationalizing such events, all it does is lead to copycats. This is the same exact thing you see when people commit suicide at tourist attractions like the Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Hoover Dam, etc...

I believe someone posted a picture of the school on social media with the caption reading “I’m getting more than 17 ppl lmao”. The individual responsible for the posting is in custody and there was no real threat.
