Well looks to me that we have a game here tonight with some
intangibles that can't be overlooked. Far too many bad vibes coming
out of the Nets camp to back this team, even getting good spread
value @ +6.5 points. This Nets team is unraveling in front of our
eyes and their season should come to an end tonight with a
convincing Heat victory. Now along with the Nets PF Robinson
(drug suspension), who's 6 fouls on Shaq, along with his ability to
shoot outside and force O'Neal off the blocks and open up driving
lanes for Carter and Jefferson, we are now hearing rumors of
player dislikes for one another on the Nets team. Concerns are now
surfacing of Jeffersons dislike of Carters selfish style of play that
has led to Jeffersons disappearing act and his continued inability
to get to the free throw line (having taken his aggressive drive to
the rim style, away), due to Carter not kicking the ball back out and
creating more ball movement for Jefferson and the rest of his
team-mates. And if these weren't good enough reasons not to back
the Nets, they are still dealing with Kidds low shooting percentage
and the team inability to guard Shaq one-on-one, which has allowed
for the Heats SF Walker to get wide open looks all game long behind
the 3 pt. line. Also the Nets have not been able to contain Haslem
from getting easy boards and put backs. All that and the Nets have
no answers for SG Wade, who is just far too athletic and energtic
for any of the Nets to contain, especially coming down the stretch.
Look for a big victory from the Heat tonight, recognizing that
they absolutly would like some extra rest heading into the conferance
finals, against a Nets team that is already contemplating the
arrival of the T-Wolves PF Garnett, for a trade with Carter and a
couple of draft picks for next season.
