It's on the Fox website .... click here, and follow the video link that says "Cavuto vs. Durbin: Pump Politics".

Durbin effortlessly swatted away Cavuto's attempts to somehow blame Jimmy Carter and Democrats for the price of gas, and made it absolutely clear that the oil companies are gouging us and reaping record profits. Cavuto was reduced to mumbling "Well, I'm not apologist for the oil companies, and I think you know that." Durbin: "Oh, I'm not so sure."

THIS WAS GREAT ... I SWEAR CAVUTO WAS GONNA START CRYING AND SEND AN EMAIL TO WIL

of all the guys on the far right, i like cavuto as much as any of them...

he's got a real sharp business mind...even if i disagree with his political views.

i saw the interview in a completely different way than you doc. i thought cavuto got him good when he brought up the "tax gouging" (if you want to use that buzz-word)...

durbin loved talking about oil company profits but wanted no part of talking about how our own government taxes the shit of those oil companies! our government is a far bigger criminal in this matter than the oil companies.

Yessir... and that is my biggest issue with the gas thing... The Government.

1. The taxes they get
2. The lack of urgency to create alternative fuels.

Classy commentary, as always, Turd Spammy!

In this liberal celeb-rotten culture, Neil Cavuto is exactly the kind of role model we need more of.

http://www.nationalmssociety.org/neil_cavuto.asp

It Takes More Than Money To Make the World Go Round

Neil Cavuto has navigated the ultimate route to happiness: live your life doing good, because it is a lot more important than having a lot of fine things. Cavuto, the host of the No. 1 business news show on cable, Your World with Neil Cavuto, is following his golden rule. Just a decade after beating cancer, Cavuto was diagnosed with the life-altering disease of multiple sclerosis in 1996. After his diagnosis, he began thinking less about himself, and instead spent his time searching for meaning and a greater understanding of how others go through pain and difficulty. In seeking inspiration in other's stories, Cavuto found the strength and courage to face his own challenges and achieve success.

Today, he not only hosts his own extremely successful show on the Fox News Channel, but also serves on the cable network's executive committee. He has also recently chronicled the stories of those who inspired him to live a more meaningful existence in a New York Times best-seller, More Than Money: True Stories of People Who Learned Life's Ultimate Lesson. Among those admired by Cavuto and mentioned in his book is David Lander aka "Squiggy", who at first kept his MS a secret from the rest of Hollywood. Lander, much like Cavuto, ultimately decided that he could accomplish more by sharing his story with others.

Ranking among the most influential business journalists in America by The Journalist and Financial Reporter, Cavuto has shown that no matter what life hands you, you can always pursue your dreams. He has given others hope and instilled in them the importance of a support system and a positive attitude. Cavuto has given recognition to the National MS Society, serving as a judge for the Society's Public Education Awards program, among other things.

Despite his overwhelming success, Cavuto has not lost sight of what is truly important. He currently lives in Chester, New Jersey with his wife, Mary, and their daughter, Tara. While he acknowledges that it is quite an achievement to have a book on the New York Times best-seller list, it is helping to enhance the lives of others, such as people with MS, that makes him feel truly successful. I'm sure he meant Joe C. Chris.

Fact is while I don't always agree with Cavuto's conservative views, you have to respect the guy who's sharp, works hard, and lives with a serious health condition.

yeah, i forgot about that...didn't he used to have cancer?

anyway, one of the highlights of my week is watching the FoxNews "business block" on saturday mornings...

they have some really sharp commentators during those 2 hours, cavuto being one of them.

although, i can't stand when they have worthless 'special guests' on there...

did anyone see lenny dykstra embarrass himself royally just the other week? that was painful to watch.

I'd say that is one high risk parlay that no one would want to hit on. The guy isn't bad at all and he is very smart.
