I'm one of 3 people left in an Elimination Pool and I need one game SU for this week.

I can't use Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, New England, Philly, St. Louis, Washington or Denver.

The three that I was looking at are:

Houston at home over Cleveland
Carolina at home over New Orleans
Minnesota over Washington in DC

I'm pretty confident in the Houston game (not so much for them as I am against Cleveland). The other two, I'm not as sure on, but both Minny and Carolina need wins to close out the season.

Any help/suggestions that you guys have will be appreciated. Even if I split the pot with the two other guys (we all win this week) I'm up for the year, so a win is huge for me. Thanks.

Bet the house on the Viks -3 in Washington...Portis questionable with a bruised shoulder and the Viks need the win for the playoffs. Washington's terrible offense negates Minnesota's terrible defense...look for the Viks to win big

Also, the Colts at +9 Dungy will play all his starters

IF KC is still available for you, I'd look seriously at them. Similar to last night's Rams-Eagles, you have one team that will try to win at all costs(KC), and one that will be resting it's people and couldn't care less about anything but staying healthy. In the games you chose, you have 2 motivated teams. In KC-SD, you only have 1. Doesn't guarantee anything, but you have the edge going in.

Kansas City or Minnesota

Washington missing a few players Arrington and Portis. Betts beat up too.

I agree with Guesser

I looked at the KC-SD game, but even if they pull Brees, I think that Flutie will tear it up in his only meaningful playing time all year against the questionable KC secondary... Philip Rivers was inactive last week, but I don't know about this week. LaDainian is 165 yards away from 1500, does anyone know if he has any contract incentive there? Not that Schottenheimer would put a contract incentive over a possible injury, but LaDainian has proven himself to be nearly indestructible, and he'll start the game.

I think your best bet is Houston over ClevelandI definitely would not take Minnesota, they will find a way to lose to the skins at Wash. Good luck.

no thanks on houston - the way they play it isn't conducive for easy wins

miny really has nothing to play for and as bad as washington is - they have a stellar defense - and minny outdoors - YIKES!

the pick i'd go with is carolina - as hot as they are now - they will beat the saints.
