Need Help.

I am having many problems with my computer. I am getting the blue screen of death on my pc. I am using Windows ME. I have been told to get rid of it. I just had a box pop up and say.

Vbwave.
Vbwave has caused an errow in KERNEL32.DLL.
Vbwave will now close.

If you continue to experience problems
try restarting your computer.

These are just a couple of problems that i am having. If you can help me out at all i would appreciate it tremendously. Thanks.

MV, When does the error occur? sta start up? when your start a certain program? or all the sudden?



It sounds like you have a file conflicting with your kernel32 and it seems it maybe a visual basics program doing it?

Try click START> RUN> type in msconfig then click STARTUP folder find and UNcheck your Visual Basics program then restart...

You may have to re-install the program IF that's the culprit. You may have to do a diagnostic start up to see what's causing the problem..

cheater thanks for the advice about the vbwave. i think i solved the problem. do you have any idea why i get the blue screen to pop up every now and then, this is the only other problem that i am having as of right now. thanks again.

MV, the blue screen issue could be an assortment of issues. I need more info like: when does it happen? what programs are running at the time? Diagnosing the blue screen issue is a tad bit more time consuming when someone can't see exactly when it happens and what OS you have or what programs you have. It could be a bad install on a programs, program gone bad, a windowsfile thats fawked up or even a virus..

I'm not a computer tech myself, but I can help you as much as I can..
