I'm looking to start investing if my good run in football continues. I'm not asking for a great buy from anybody, but where can I go to learn more about investing? I am very green to it all, and am looking to learn as much as I can. I know it is like anything else, the more you read about something the more you can learn. Thanks in advance.

Yahoo finance is a bunch of garbage, don't waste your time there. Start determining whether you are looking to trade or invest (yes, there is a difference). Find some good books based on whatever it is you are looking to do. FYI, if you are looking to trade, good luck. The volatility right now requires a dramamine patch.

Just reading the articles he can pick up the basics. But Nole's right read the classics by Graham, Lynch, etc. before actually investing.

Find your style of investing.
Is it buying for a long time?(safest) Buying and selling every for any time frame less than a year is problematic. Never be afraid to sell and take a profit.
