We're still waiting on TWO deposits....PublicMoney and PO69, both have basically committed but we still need BJ to put the funds in, i am pretty sure they will get it done by tomorrow.....after we know the final total we can finalize the payout.

I'm late with this I realize.

I would prefer something close to 50% of the prize pool for first and something very minimal for 5th. (personally I would vote for 4 places)

But as long as it is announced early on, there are enough plusses and minuses to ANY split that it all evens out......so I will defer to the majority for the fine points.

I prefer 50% going to first place and bracketed down from there...we have nearly 30 players now so we should pay 5-6 IMO....definitely 5.

Understood. I'm just throwing this now and let people check this thread out in the morning. I should be back online anytime between 1000-1300 hours Eastern Time. I had felt that it's likely the decision would have to be made by that time already, thus why I went ahead to do this before bed.

While we are in our "opinion" stage, J-Man, wink wink... IMO, I'm not crazy about 3rd/4th place so bunched up in similar fashion as if it was more of a tie for 3rd/4th that were split up.

However, that's also something I was thinking along with 1st and 2nd place getting most attention/heated race, with 3rd/4th having considerable separation from the top 2 in a 5-prize race.

I only respectfully disagree with Zapster's thinking that "minimum to 5th place". As several others pointed out, 5th place out of 29-ish over 5 full months, and only getting the deposit back?

Granted I'm not sure how I should express it via the payout structure if we want to keep near-50% for the 1st place prize winner.

I like 5b , I just don't like 4th only getting 675 ...5b isn't bad though....I would like to see 4th get atleast 1k .
