NONE.
Any advantages are wiped out by disadvantages.
The issue at hand is needing a local when living in LV.....
Having a local always allows you another out with perhaps a softer line on a particular game. Also allows you the ability to play with credit, while this might seem like a big advantage, to some it is. Allows you to call in your bet from anywhere you may be, you need not to be "in range" of the casino. You also can get down larger bets without worrying about any tax ramifications. Also if you have ever been to LV, you may know that the limits are a pain in the a$$, and it may be very time consuming getting down what you wish. Finally, if you are a private person, you may not want the hassle involved with dealing with a casino, where everything is documented when you make a significant wager.
I agree there are some disadvantages to working with a local, you just have to weigh what is more important to you, to make a determination of whether or not to take a chance dealing with a local. I can assure you that if I lived in LV, I would only deal with a local or offshore. For me betting with a casino in LV is not a option that is very attractive.
