With perfect weather, there is no reason to think that this will be a low scoring game. Both teams can put up points, and both teams can give up points. The problem for Nebraska is that they have given up 121 points in their last three games, and USC has a much better offense than the teams that Nebraska played. By the same token, USC has given up 82 points in their last 3 games, which is not very good.

Good luck to those with USC tonight. Probably the most lopsided bet game of the bowl season

If this game plays to script Nebraska is without their coach on what was already a very leaky defense and their offense is a turnover machine. As much as USC throws the ball down the field and as balanced as they are, QB Kessler does not turn the ball over. Throw out the Cal game as they were up in that game at the half by 28 and got completely bored. Don't look at the score in that game as Cal scored 14 pts in the last 5 minutes of the game to make is look respectable. It was 38-16 with 6 minutes remaining if I remember correctly. USC is +11 in the turnover margin and Nebraska is -2. Also look at the conference strength. The best win on the Nebraska schedule was over Rutgers and Iowa. They lost to both Wisky and Minny.

Usc has no rivalry with cal.

Its usc v. Ucla and cal v. Stanford.
Actually, they do. All those California schools do. It's not like USC/UCLA, but there's a rivarly. Probably more on the Cal side of the house but rivalry none the less
