I don’t know what kind of raccoon sacrifice they’ll have to do but going on damn near two decades of mediocrity. The program facilities are one of the tops in the nation but with coaching changes, good recruiting classes, and a supportive fan base this program is essentially flat lined and it doesn’t seem to matter how good any of this is because the football team isn’t competing.
It’s got to be a curse. I’m convinced if the entire Alabama team with Nick Saban and all, went to Lincoln, wore Nebraska uniforms, played in Nebraska stadium, played against Georgia Southern, they’d still lose.
After the recent firing of Scott Frost someone asked AD Trev Alberts of what he thought was the underlying problem as to why Nebraska football hasn’t been able to revive for all these years his response was, “I don’t know.”
