Colorado -10 over Colorado State - Hard to believe that this line has dropped so far. I have no idea why. Colorado State's front seven on defense is asbysmal. Probably one of the worst in all of the FBS. Colorado will dominate these guys on the ground and score a bunch. On the flip side of the ball, the Rams start a rookie in hostile territory. Really like the Buffs here...
ND...I'm glad to see you got this one. I think Colorado is by far the best bet on the board right now at 10. I'm going to paste a little tidbit on the Colorado defense in my thread. Everything I'm hearing out of the Buffs camp has been good, and everything out of the CSU camp hasn't been good news. They have been scrambling around trying to find a QB. I'm very surprised that more people here on the board aren't betting this game.
I agree. I think most people are thinking that 10 points is a lot to lay behind a team that got blown out quite a bit last year, but most of these people don't realize how bad CSU will be this upcoming season. Colorado's running game is going to be legit this year.
Washington +18 over LSU - Obviously Washington was pathetic ATS last year, but i expect a big turnaround ATS this year. Star QB Locker is back healthy and these guys have new life with the energetic Sarkisian at the helm. I don't expect a Husky win, but expect a better game than most people think.
Miami, FL +6.5 over Florida State - The underdog in this series has been scary good. Miami probably has the most overall talent in the ACC, but they have a brutal schedule, so it may not show record wise. This game is a complete tossup IMO. The line was Miami -2 last year, and the Canes lost a wild, crazy game. If anything, Miami has closed the gap on FSU since last season. Expect this game to play more true to form of this series, which means a low scoring, hard-hitting defensive war, where 6.5 should come in handy.<!-- / message -->
Georgia +5 over Oklahoma State - The Big 12 South is one of the most overrated leagues in all of college football. In last year's bowls, the Big 12 south went a splendid 0-4 ATS. They put up impressive numbers, but look what Ole Miss did to Texas Tech last year, and look what Florida did to Oklahoma. When these guys take on the big time defenses, they just don't stack up. This is the case in point here. Georgia is clearly the underrated team in this ball game. Oklahoma State was pushed around in their bowl game last year by an Oregon team that was very up and down. If they couldn't handle Oregon, i don't like their chances against a man's defense in Georgia. Mark Richt is an absurd 30-4 in opponent's stadiums and he'll have his troops primed to pull the upset here.
