Those of you that have been following our NBA Trends & Angles all season are aware that the vast majority of out ATS angles have been geared toward the home teams, and with good reason as home court advantage has meant more than ever this season with the condensed schedule.
However, this week we lead off with a fresh angle that actually fades home favorites after big wins, as this is one of the few anti-home angles from seasons past that has actually stood up even this season. As usual, all NBA records presented here this year whether it be ATS or totals are for this season only, as our goal is to isolate angles that work best in this year's special post-lockout environment.
Play against any home favorite coming off of a straight up win by more than 10 points (59-39, 60.2% ATS):*This angle has worked well in years past, but we were dubious about its chances for success this season in a year where the home teams figured to have a bigger advantage than ever. Well, it turns out our fears were unwarranted as this angle has continued to produce great results where other angles fading home teams that were successful in the past have failed miserably this year.
