When will you guys learn - the Eastern Conference has ZERO chance of winning anything - there is no value - not even at +100,000 - you have two teams barring injury - the Spurs or the Lakers - it's been 5 years - nothing has changed.

Great the public loves NO even better lol i would say NY has the best chance of an upset in the east. Marbury v Kidd I'm drooling at the prospect. If Houston is activated even better, they can spring the surprise. The Nets really don't have the half court game to go deep this time and are beat up. If it comes to a clutch shot NJ won't have it. From the outside they don't have the shooters. NY anyone? Isiah wants success right now! NJ well they have made the finals two years running and got belted twice, 3rd time lucky? No.

General, I mostly meant in contrast to their earlier work, and was shading Detroit's finish, but think Det and Indy both capable of forcing 6 or 7 Gm Finals, with a lean to both to win the ATS edge in the Finals by the same margin they'll probably lose it SU..say 4-2 or 4-3.

Great franchise, well run.

Damn linemakers got cute with the Mia-NO series..inflation!

I've seen the unbeatable horse get beat more than just a few times. Even God couldn't sink the mighty Titanic

The West as per usual lately rates a big chance but I do expect a competitive effort from the East in the finals.

I'm not sure there's much value at this point, but I grabbed the Wolves early in the year at 15-1 and still like that. Although it's true they have never shown anything in the playoffs, this is a completely different squad as evidenced by winning the West - especially in the manner they did it. Beating the Kings in Sactown like they did was huge, and taking care of business after to seal the deal proved a lot to me. They are now set on a solid rotation of players, and they are real players. Their matchups are good - playing the Nuggets in round one and the winner of Sacto and Dallas in round two. If they get by the 2nd round (neither team plays any defense, so will not wear them down), they face either San Antonio or the Lakers (IF they can turn on the switch) after what should be a pretty draining series for either team.

The Timberwolves are a possible World Championship Team, all things considered, in my opinion. Not sure I would lay +585, but at the +1500 I have them at, I love them at this point.

EYO's, got same Wolves 17-1, then rebought 50% more at 10-1. Had Spurs at same 17-1 last year. Also took them this year 7-1 to win it all, and 6-1 West. 2nd choice Sad SacKings imploding lended huge value boost. Hard to see Lakers favored over Spurs without home field if Lakers struggle against Yao. Wolves faves til Conf final, then who knows? Wolves easily got the nice setup with new to the show Nuggs then defenseless twins Sack/Dall. I do not buy have not won anything stigma. In this what have you done for me lately sport, they have the depth and right star players, at the right time. I'm thinking Wolf/Spur conf final. So if that holds up, drum roll on the if, I am sitting pretty. Figure whoever out of each is 3-1 dog in finals. Marquee good guy matchup for Stern with Ticket vs. Tim. Lakers just bad news at every turn. Shaq losing it, again. Malone hurt, again. Kobe playing for penn soon. Not warm and fuzzy global headlines thats for sure. I actually was happy when Lakers won the division. Like Spurs much better over Lakers, and Wolves much better over Sack/Dal. Spurs actually look better than last year's team, Laker's paper trade is great for Hall O Fame, but it just not translate on the court against Parker and Tim. Might be overlooking Grizz and Nuggs but first time around, 7, as in seven not 5, game series. Have a lot of Lakers 2-1 win it all, and -1.60 not win it all. Make something there for sure. Well, good luck and Best Wishes...OF

I disagree with a few posters who say the east has no chance. Ind or Det vs a weary west team that undoubtably will have a hellava time making it out of that conf is no mismatch. For sure they will be decent dogs, unless somebody else represents the east they won't be huge underdog.
