Owners have to ensure that Irving is on the bench, and D-League product Donald Sloan will likely see a bulk of minutes at point guard with Irving and Daniel Gibson (foot) sidelined. In Sloan's lone start this season, he put up 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.

There is also a chance Anderson could miss Monday's game against the Pistons as well as Tuesday's game against the Wizards. Owners will have to check back for a more definitive update on his condition when one becomes available, but it's obvious that Anderson's injury is more than a day-to-day situation. He's wearing a walking boot and said that his ankle remains swollen.

He'll be a game-time call against the Celtics on Thursday, but even if he doesn't play, a return on Sunday against the Knicks is looking awfully good right now. Rose is averaging 22.8 points, 8.0 assists and 1.4 treys this season.
