If I am drafting just off the UCLA roster I don't even take him 4th.

Dumbest trade if you are a Wolves fan

Mchale quickly taking over isiahs role as worst exec

I dont like Beasley under Pat Riley.. I dont like Vinny as the coach of the Bulls either. But I think Alexander will work out and be productive early in his rookie season. Rose will be dominant in the near future I see 3 years. Bulls won't be making the playoffs for the next two years

As if Brandon Roy for Randy Foye wasn't bad enough...:puppy:
Chad Ford saying on ESPN that Mchale was brilliant for making this trade!

I understand he wanted Love and he got Mike Miller thrown in, but honestly why didnt he trade #3 pick than to another team who really wanted it?

He could have gotten someone like Richard Jefferson AND another top 10 pick

I really should be GM'ing some team

You guys are crazy with your feelings on Westbrook. I think that was an excellent spot for him. He's an excellent defender on top of what he does with the ball and that's the stuff that wins championships.

Easily could have got Westbrook in the 2ns round? geeze, I hope that is not what you meant. If he were still on the board, there would have been another 3 teams at least in the top 10 that would have taken him although he will be nothing more of a decent role player.

Westbrook may be the best defender in the draft. He has an incredible first step, athleticism out the ass, and upside to be an absolute star. In a year or two when he gets his outside shot down more, he's going to be a top 10 NBA talent in my opinion.

Geeze, i swear.

This is like the pundits that swear as soon as Vince Young improves his accuracy, he will be an elite level quarterback. My God. You could say that about almost everyone.

Westbrook has all the skills. Just wait and see. The guy oozes upside. He has the athleticism of a young Kobe with better defense and less size. Athletic guys in basketball generally figure it out. Toss in the fact that this kid can play D and you have a potential stud.

Athleticism equates success and skill-building in NBA much more than the NFL IMO.

I know what the NBA and the NFL are about. I'm an expert at both.

There are alot of guys that come in like him that have even greater potential that don't do shit like Rudy Gay, Tyrus Thomas, Shawne Williams, Marvin Williams, JR Smith, Martell Webster, Rashad McCants, Joey Graham, Hakin Warrick, and QAndre Igudola to name a few.

Every yearin the draft there are guys like this. And every year they act like it is such a rare phenon. Corey Brewer from Florida is another guy last year that was like this except he was actually experienced.

The draft anymore is all about upside because all of these homeboys are 6'8", wiry thin, can jump over buildings, have no shot, and are quick.

The toughest 2 positions too find are a true skilled center/power forward and a true point guard.

Guys like westbrook, durant, etc. come around every year.

Westbrook is a project.

I think Eric Gordon will be an immediate impact player and 20+ point scorer for the Clippers. Of course they are still the Clippers soooo...
