Punta Leona is a nice private beach community.

Not much to do but relax, walk around the rocky parts of the beach and explore....some surfing when there is a big swell. Maybe rent a kayak. Place has a restaurant but it's no good. You'd have to go to Los Suenos or Jaco to get some decent food...about a 10 minute drive.

Night life blows...bunch of kids.

This place is situated right in front of Tamarindo Beach, and has a nice pool... good eating but since it is located near a nice town for tourists you will have lots of eating options available... only concern I would have is do they offer any decent rates for a month long stay.

Call these Potrero Bay people...see if they can offer you a good rate at the hotel (it is nice), if not ask them about their "CATALINA RENTAL CONDOS"... that should do the trick.

Potreroy Beach is very safe... it is near Playa Conchal which is nice for nearshore snorkeling, near Playa Flamingo as well...Very nice scenery all about.
