TERRORIST GROUP HEZBOLLAH
ENDORSES MICHAEL MOORE FILM
Offers to Help Promote “Fahrenheit 9/11”

(SACRAMENTO/SAN DIEGO/SAN FRANCISCO) –The terrorist group Hezbollah has reached out to distributors of Michael Moore’s anti-military propaganda flick, “Fahrenheit 9/11” with an offer to help promote the film.

The report of Hezbollah’s involvement came in Thursday’s London newspaper, The Guardian, with the headline, “Fahrenheit 9/11 gets help offer from Hezbollah.” Hezbollah’s endorsement underscores the argument made by Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org) that Moore’s movie is designed to undermine support for the war on terrorism.

Earlier this week, Move America Forward Vice Chair Melanie Morgan (radio talk show host on San Francisco’s KSFO AM 560), had declared: “It would be more appropriate to have this propaganda shown at Al Qaeda training camps rather than American movie theaters.” Morgan’s statement was met by howls of protest from Moore’s associates.

Move America Forward Chairman, Howard Kaloogian, today offered an apology in regards to Morgan’s comment:

“I regret that we limited our comments solely to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and failed to mention that other terrorist groups, like Hezbollah, would also rally behind this film.

“Fahrenheit 9/11 serves one purpose and one purpose only: to undermine the United States' war against terrorism. This is precisely why Move America Forward has asked Americans to register their dissatisfaction with movie theaters that choose to show this film.

“Now is the time for Americans to stand united behind the men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan to preserve our safety and national security, not promote the agenda of radical terrorist organizations like Hezbollah,” Kaloogian concluded.

Hezbollah is a Middle East based terrorist organization, which according to the U.S. State Department has killed more than 300 American citizens in terrorist attacks. The group is blamed for the October 23, 1983 attack on a U.S. marine barracks in Lebanon. Move America Forward Vice Chair, Melanie Morgan, covered the horrific attacks as a young radio reporter. Deaths of those marines deeply impacted her and underscored her commitment to fighting terrorism.

Glad all the armchair warriors support the useless war in Iraq.

We still have casualties to this day in Afghanistan where the real support for Al Qaeda is and we have not pacified that country although there has been a noble effort on the part of American Armed Forces. In other words, where the justifiable war is, we simply do not have the resources allocated by the Bush Admin to get the job done there.

But the real incompentence of this admin comes from taking on a country that had:

No ties to al qaeda and 9/11
No WMD

and not allocating enough manpower or force to do the job with no plan for occupation or exit strategy thus violating 3 major principles of noted war veteran and Republican Colin Powell:

War is a horrible and unpredictable thing as we learned in Viet Nam so if you prosecute it, you make sure:

1. It's last resort. Remember, Bush Admin pulled the inspection teams - they were not kicked out. Also, they did not share with inspection team all suspected WMD sites which is one of the most disingenuous things any American administration has ever done.

2. The US has overwheming military power to achieve the objective. Here Bush Admin fails, firing (effectively) Gen. Shinseki for suggesting that it will take more than 100,000 troops to occupy Iraq. In Bob Woodward's book, Plan of Attack, he documents over and over how Rumsefeld was constantly getting on Tommy Franks to reduce the size of the forces in Iraq. Simply not enough boots on the ground to get the job done thus causing more casualties than should.

3. There is a clearly defined exit strategy. Any of you necons care to tell me what the plan is in terms of:

1. How much longer will we be occupying Iraq?
2. How many Armed Forces personnel needed, when do we draw down?
3. How many casualties do you estimate?
4. How much money will be needed?
5. What will Iraqi government look like once we withdraw?

What a miserable fvcking failure this is. I am tired of hearing how people who oppose the war are anti-American. Quite the opposite, I am opposed to any more Americans dying for this mis-begotten, ill-conceived endeavor - it is a tragedy and a stain on our nation.

My exact thoughts, mudbone....

While we're in the process of rebuilding a nation that's in about as good of shape as a Model T left in a riverbed for 50 years...

Al Qaeda and the terrorists must be laughing thier asses off in Afghanistan watching Bush adlib a war in Iraq and in the process of trying to polish a turd into a nation at the American taxpayers expense, end up with little more than chaos and a nation headed for civil war.....when do we formulate a plan and go after the terrorists?

Of course if we protest the war we're considered unamerican, as your last paragraph stated.....call me whatever you want but at least I see how much of a fvcked up useless money burning abortion this war is....

Keep on adlibbing, George....

Sitting back and waiting to be hit has proven to not work. It was a great idea to draw the terrorist out in and around Iraq. Get back to me when we approach the deaths we suffered on 9-11. One incident with a nuke or chemical weapon in a major US city would cost 10x's what we are spending in Iraq. The US cannot defend every target, we have no choice except to aggressively go after our sworn enemies.

That's great, GAMEFACE....so when do we start going after the individuals that pose the real threat from acts of terrorism and quit roaming aimlessly around the streets in Iraq looking for another car bomb to detonate in some soldier's face???

Quit all this fvcking nation rebuilding and go after the criminals......Is that too much too ask???
