Wow. I got ND for the game and I still say what a horrible call. Obvious his knee wasn't down.

Watch the replay. His knee hits as the ball hits the ground.

Before the ball hits the ground, the ball breaks the plane.

Therefore, the ball crosses the plane before his knee hits.

Sounds like the same situation in the lions/packers game... that 2 point was good and they reversed it

Hardly obvious. In fact impossible to tell, as the horrible announcing team got right from the start

How can they not put the replay of the ball breaking the plane and the replay of his knee not down side by side?

I'm listening on ESPN radio. Both guys thought the evidence was there to overturn the call and were very surprised the call stood

They have video evidence & still get the call wrong......if that doesn't tell you these refs are influenced by money, I don't know what will.......

This is what I was talking about in another thread a few days ago.

So many calls are now coming down to whatever a referee feels like calling...and even with the benefit of replay, they still fuck them up.

No dog in this fight for me, but how that wasn't ruled a TD is beyond me.

Many aren't obvious. Thats why we have replay.

apparently there's just too much logic in being able to piece together two facts from two angles, and unless there's a clear camera shot with nobody in the way they can't do anything. fcking absurd call.

difference being they only showed the Lions replay 2X in real time and this LSU TD they slowed down in slo-mo 10X and showed it to us clearly!
