everyone jumps on Kennedy because he tried to scam $200 from a sportsbook. It's only $200 and hopefully the book is able to recover it.

This is similar to a friend or relative that borrows $200 and never pays you back. The way I look at it the relative may have saved you thousands down the road. Now you know the guy's a fraud and you'll never have another money deal with him again.

Now the guys that are dangerous are the ones that go big. When someone rips off a whole country or tries to get 40 dimes from a book, these are the guys to keep an eye on.

When these guys get caught they'll only try to make amends when it's beneficial to them down the road, otherwise you are out the money.
