I'm starting to bet movies myself.

Even though I lost last weekend badly with The Robots going over.

I noticed that the first Ring grossed about 15 mil over 1900 screens which means about 30 over 3800 screens. Why do you like the over?

Even though it only did 15 million the first week, the next 3 consecutive weeks it made more than it did the first week. Total gross: 129 million. It had legs like the Bourne Supremecy, and that means the sequel is gonna tear **** up this weekend. I think its gonna do over 50.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know it did so good on the follow up. I'll probably just pass as I hate laying more than -115. BOL on your wager.

Box office Guru and Report predictions

Box Office Guru: The Ring Two may scare up around $36M over three days.

Box Office Report: 40 million

I think you're safe with Over 43... but it shouldn't do much more...

:money8:

I'm suprised it's only #9 on Yahoo's most popular list:

lol yeah. it makes no sense, The Ring should have the same internet buzz, you'd think, same demographic more or less. Teenagers. anyways, heres one theater report:

"UA Riverview Stamium 17: 1screen, 5 shows: three sellouts and one +70%
Lowes Cherry Hill: 5 screens, 23 shows: eight sellouts and seven +70%

I smell a +20M Friday (IMHO) " :drink:

Well Gil, I give up. Maybe I'll make a play or two this summer, but for the most part will be sticking to the NFL. Good luck.
