Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports for writing the following regarding the NFL Playoffs and who is "IN" and "OUT":
*************************************
WHO'S IN
New England Patriots (8-1). The Patriots are merely getting their ducks in a row in an attempt to lock up home-field advantage in the AFC. They need to get Ty Law back before January, but even if they don't, they'll still be the cream of the crop.
Final record: 13-3 and in as the AFC East champion. Home-field advantage throughout AFC playoffs.
Philadelphia Eagles (8-1). The defense still has some work to do to prove itself, especially the front seven when it comes to locking up the run consistently. They'll get it done, and Terrell Owens will catch 20 touchdowns this season.
Final record: 13-3 and in as the NFC East champion. Home-field advantage throughout NFC playoffs.
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-1). Duce Staley will come back healthy, eventually. Joey Porter will stop getting thrown out of games, hopefully. Ben Roethlisberger will lose an ounce or two of his ridiculous luster, undoubtedly. But Pittsburgh's defense and running game will make the Steelers practically impossible to beat the rest of the season.
Final record: 13-3 and in as the AFC North champion.
Atlanta Falcons (7-2). Michael Vick will look "lost" and "found" at least two or three more times before this campaign is over. And the media will overreact each time, prematurely questioning his place in a West Coast offense. The defense will be a little more predictable, playing solid three out of every four games.
Final record: 11-5 and in as the NFC South champion.

The Pats and Steelers finish with the same record - and the Pats get HFA for the AFC Playoffs.
Guess this mental midget never heard of the #1 tie-breaker in the NFL:
IN case of a tie if the teams played H2H the team that WON that game wins any tie-breaker.
This boob has the Pats WINNING a Tie-breaker with the Steelers! Guess he was napping when the 2 played a few weeks ago and The Steelers won!
