Odd how the timeline you mention is similar to other legislation passed during this time frame. Something tells me that you wouldn't be too fond of the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964.
No, you are jumping to conclusions. The Civil Rights Act aided real Americans, that is to say African Americans,
whose ancestors came to these shores even earlier than some of mine did, so I have no beef with that piece of
legislation at all. Blacks where and have always been part of the American Structure!
Johnson with his partner in crime, Ted Kennedy 'the swimmer' produced legislation which bought into the US
whole new groups of foreigners unfamiliar with the culture & one of these new groups unequipped to deal with it
without being problematic.
The first permanent structure built specifically to serve as a mosque is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was built in 1934
and served as a mosque for forty years. It was then sold after a larger mosque was built. In 1990, the building was
rebuilt as a Muslim cultural center and is known as the Mother Mosque of America. When my parents were born
there was not one structure built specifically as a mosque in America!
There were not more than 25 mosques in the entire country when Johnson's policies embraced Isalm. Now there
are over 2000. If there still were only 25 or so this countries citizens would have a lot less to worry about.
